This website is operated by Northern Diver International Limited (referred to as "Northern Diver/we/our/us"). As user of this website (referred to as "you/your") you acknowledge that any use of this website including any transactions you make ("use/using") is subject to our terms and conditions below (which includes any other important hyper-linked sections).

All Northern Diver diving equipment can be purchased online. Orders can also be made by telephone, via e-mail, fax or by post. Personal callers are also very welcome at the Northern Diver showroom, to view our full range of water sport equipment, receive personal assistance with sizing, discuss any personalisation requirements or to try on any of our garments. Please check our opening times and telephone (01257) 254444 to arrange an appointment.

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect when posted on the website and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use this website and your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.

Certain website services will require registration and subsequent access to those services will be subject to an approved login name and password. Information that you provide on this website when registering and/or placing orders must be accurate and complete. Passwords details are accepted and may be withdrawn at our sole discretion and are exclusive to you and non-transferable and must be always treated as strictly confidential. In the event you have any concerns regarding your password details or become aware of any misuse then you must inform us immediately. 

Access to our website may temporarily be restricted for repairs, standard maintenance or the introduction of new services. We may change the website in any way or delete features at any time and for any reason. We reserve the right to decline a new customer registration or order, including multiple registrations or orders, or suspend or terminate a customer’s account, order, or access to all or any part of the website at any time, at our sole discretion and without notice.

Payment
We take payment from your card or PayPal account at the time we receive your order, once we have checked your card or PayPal details and stock availability. Goods are subject to availability. If we are unable to supply the goods, where we have made a mistake, or we have processed your order in breach of these terms and conditions, we will inform you of this as soon as possible. A full refund will be given where you have already paid for the goods. Northern Diver is not responsible for the content of external websites. 

We also accept BACS or direct bank transfers. Contact us for more information on this. 

Please note - we no longer accept cheques as a payment method.

Other orders where payment is made at the time of ordering for in store collection, the price you pay is the price specified at the point of placing the order and not the prevailing price in store at the time of collection. If on collection the item has come down in price since the order was placed, we will be happy to refund the purchase price and re-sell the item at the lower price. If the price has gone up from when the order was placed, the price paid remains valid unless there has been a price error.

All prices are shown in £s sterling and include VAT at the standard UK rates but exclude delivery charges (unless logged in as a TRADE customer in which case prices will be shown in £s sterling and exclude VAT). It may be necessary to adjust the prices in the event of a change in VAT rates. In this case, a customer would be entitled to a full refund, if the change is not acceptable. VAT registered customers, holding a valid VAT number (at the address where the goods will be delivered), should advise us of their VAT number at the time the order is placed (if they wish to make a VAT free order). For online orders, customers should enter their (valid) VAT Number in the 'Order Comments' section, at the website checkout, if they wish to make a VAT free online order.

Northern Diver reserves the right to cancel any orders containing pricing errors, with no further obligations to you, even after your receipt of an order confirmation or shipping notice from Northern Diver. If we discover an error in the price of goods ordered or reserved, we will inform you as soon as possible (e.g. prior to the goods being dispatched or in store prior to or at the time of the collection of the goods). We will provide you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact, you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you choose to cancel and have already paid for the goods you will receive a full refund.

Payments are taken once the order has been confirmed and we aim to despatch all orders as soon as the payment has cleared. Orders placed online (Monday-Friday) before 2pm, will be despatched 'Same Day', unless stated otherwise in the product description. Online orders placed after 2pm on Friday (and before 2pm on Monday) will be despatched on Monday, again, unless stated otherwise in the product description.

Due to the automation of some sections of the website, a product may become unavailable before an online order is placed but the order may still be confirmed. In this case, the customer will be contacted, and the order will be fully refunded during the next working day, unless an exchange is agreeable with the customer. 

Delivery
This website offers for delivery of products to customers in mainland UK and overseas addresses. If we cannot deliver to your chosen delivery address, you will be contacted immediately.

Delivery charges and estimated timescales are specified in the checkout process when you place an order. We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales, however delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors. Northern Diver shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within estimated timescales.

Risk of loss or damage of products passes to you on the date when the products are delivered to you or are left with a person or at a place nominated by you. For the purposes of proof of delivery only, where you accept delivery personally the delivery driver may ask either for your signature or may take a photograph of the products at a distance with your door open, which may include images of you. Where you are not present to accept delivery of the products our delivery driver will take a photograph of the place where the products were left.

Guarantee
All Northern Diver products are guaranteed for a period of 12 months, from the date of purchase, covering manufacturing defects or failure. The guarantee does not extend to any damage caused by normal or misuse, neglect or accidental damage. In addition, this guarantee will become invalid if the goods have been subjected to alteration or modification, from their original design. Breathable material has a life of approx. 2/5 years with average use, this can be dependent on the storage conditions and any hydrocarbons that the suit may encounter. If any Northern Diver suit is neglected the life expectancy could be drastically reduced. Please see our suit manual for recommended care and maintenance.

Northern Diver International Ltd. recommends that you DO NOT attempt to undertake a repair to any Northern Diver equipment, unless you are suitably qualified and competent to do so. Please note - a repair attempt made by an unqualified person will void the warranty on any Northern Diver equipment. Please contact us first, if you need assistance with any Northern Diver purchase.

Claims
In the unlikely event that goods are 'lost in transit', this must be reported to us by e-mail or telephone as soon as possible. In the unlikely event that goods are received 'damaged in transit', this must be reported to us within 24 hours of delivery, by e-mail or telephone and the goods/packaging must be retained for inspection.

Non-Delivery for UK mainland orders: we aim to deliver all orders (placed before 2pm) the very next day but please allow up to 3 working days, as this is dependent on your geographical location, within the UK. For orders delivered outside of the UK mainland, we aim to deliver all orders within 3 working days, from the date of despatch but please allow up to 7 working days (from the date of despatch) as this will depend on your location within your country. Refunds
Refunds will only be considered for those customers that have purchased products directly from Northern Diver International Ltd. In addition, we can only accept goods back for refund that are complete, unused and in 'as new' condition (i.e. re-saleable). Goods must be returned to their original packaging, complete with any accessories (as received) and returned at the customers expense, along with a valid purchase receipt. Cash refunds strictly apply to cash purchases only and the original till receipt must also be supplied, as proof of purchase. Where goods are purchased by credit or debit card, refunds will only be made back onto the card account used for the original transaction. A copy of the customers credit or debit card receipt and purchase receipt must also be supplied. 

Returns, Cancellations and Substitutions
We offer a 28-day money back guarantee, please refer to Returns and refunds. In the unlikely event that you receive faulty or damaged goods, please refer to our Returns and refunds section.

Sometimes the product specifications may change, in which case we will do our best to offer you a similar alternative. We may experience problems with the supply of certain products and may therefore supply a substitute of the same or better quality. If you are not happy with the replacement or substitute you can cancel your order.

All sizes and measurements are approximate, but we do try to make sure that they are as accurate as possible.

Gift Cards
Are purchased online or in-store must be activated by Northern Diver before use. Gift cards purchased can be loaded with any amount from a minimum of £10.00. A gift card must be used in full. Customers cannot make a purchase with a gift card where the total value is lower than the gift card value. The value of the gift card indicates the minimum spend. If you do not spend the entire balance of the gift card, the remaining balance will be lost after the transaction.

Gift cards are supplied in GBP £ and should only be redeemed online at our retail, commercial or rescue websites and cannot be used for purchases made over the phone, email or in-store.

To use your gift card online, input the gift certificate code at the payment stage of your order. The number of gift cards you can use in a single transaction for online purchases is limited to one. If you have more than one gift card and would like to use them in a single transaction you should contact the website team.

Gift cards are not credit, debit, or cheque guarantee cards, cannot be redeemed for cash or be returned. All gift cards hold an expiry date (usually 12months unless otherwise stated), please refer to your card. If you need to check the value and confirm the expiry date, please contact the website team.

Gift cards must be treated like cash, Northern Diver cannot be held liable for lost, stolen or damaged gift cards and they will not be replaced.
